I visited Brown Sugar Oat cafe first time on Christmas Eve with my fiancé. I ordered the apple cobbler oatmeal bowl and the gingerbread latte, oh my goodness! Hands down the best oatmeal and latte I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly flavored, warm, and comforting. The decor was cozy festive and so thoughtfully done it honestly felt like stepping inside a beautiful holiday poster. The customer service was top-notch. warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. As first time visitors, we really appreciated how they took the time to give us a quick rundown of the cafe and menu which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Overall it was an amazing and joyful way to start Christmas Eve We will definitely be back soon!

This place is an absolute gem. A coffee and oatmeal bar with such creative, and unique options—I’ve honestly never seen anything like it anywhere else. Everything is thoughtfully made, delicious, and and customizable. They brings together the flavors you grew up with plus the ingredients you wish you thought of yourself sooner. The service is just as special: you’re welcomed and treated like family the moment you walk in. On top of that, it’s incredibly picturesque—cozy, charming, and perfect for lingering a little longer than planned. My daughters love taking pictures with all the seasonal decor. Truly a must-try.

ABSOLUTELY delicious, way better than I expected. I’m not generally one to order or care much about oatmeal, but this place changed the game. Different options for oats including overnight-oats which were amazing. Then add in a mix in like cookie butter, nutella or many others, and top with like 50 different options, not to mention drizzles like honey, marshmallow and more. Huge list of drink options and the espresso, iced mocha and smoothie were awesome. To top it off was the 10/10 service from Josh. Thanks so much and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely love Brown Sugar! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a beautiful, thoughtfully designed interior that makes you want to stay for hours. The coffee is top-notch — smooth, rich, and made with care. Their oatmeal options and smoothies are delicious too! What really makes this place special are the people. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the baristas are always friendly and attentive. You can feel the heart and soul they’ve put into this place — it’s more than just a coffee shop, it’s a space where you feel at home. Amazing service, delicious drinks, and a truly lovely vibe — highly recommend🤍

Wow what a unique concept! I have never been to a place like this. This is an oatmeal bar, perfect for breakfast. They have make your own bowls or signature bowls. You can also get both warm or cold oatmeal. They also have amazing coffee. I got the cardamom and rose bowl, it’s very light and tasty.

Such a fun and adorable spot for a feel-good treat! Loved the creative options—my kids enjoyed their warm oatmeal with all the toppings, while I went for the dairy-free chia seed base, which was delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. This coffee shop in Mission Viejo is such a warm and welcoming spot! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care that Sarah (the owner) has poured into creating a beautiful, cozy atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. Josh, the barista, is absolutely wonderful — so kind, attentive, and passionate about making sure every customer leaves happy and satisfied with their drink. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. The coffee is excellent, the vibes are peaceful, and the people are even better. If you’re in Mission Viejo, you have to stop by and experience it for yourself — you’ll be greeted with a smile and the best cup of coffee in town! ☕💛

I would go here every day if I could. Soooo delicious and such a fantastic concept, especially for an oat lover like me! I got the protein bowl which I think was $15. Perfect value. Not cheap, but not overpriced as the serving was hearty and filling. The young man working there also took the time to make my bowl picture perfect and was very friendly too. My espresso was also fantastic. I can’t wait to go back!

Great cozy and very clean place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we tried was delicious, and the coffee is honestly excellent. Special thanks to Polina, the barista — she was super friendly, made an amazing coffee, and everything was served quickly and professionally. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Highly recommend!
